Human Plus engagiert sich in der Coronakrise in Griechenland

Immediately after our help page for Greece was put online, we received the first requests with a request for specific support. The region of Macedonia and Thrace in the north of Greece will then receive equipment and material for three hospitals that was brought on the road yesterday by truck.

Specifically, we have supported the following institutions:

  • Geniko Nosokomeio Xanhti: 2 electric intensive care beds, 2 bedside tables, 1 couch, 6 chairs and 2 tables for the intensive care unit, overalls, gloves, thermometer, various dressing materials for emergencies
  • Geniko Nosokomeio Ptelomaida: 2 electric intensive care beds for the new intensive care unit, 2 bedside tables, 1 couch, 6 chairs and 2 tables for the intensive care unit, overalls, gloves, thermometer, various dressing materials for emergencies
  • Genito Nosokomeio “Agios Pavlos” Thessaloniki: 2 electric intensive care beds for the new intensive care unit, 2 bedside tables, 1 couch, 6 chairs and 2 tables for the intensive care unit. Smock, gloves, thermometer, various dressings for emergencies
  • Sidirokastron and Rodopolis health centers: 3 electric beds, 1 couch, 6 chairs and 2 tables, gloves, coats and various dressings for emergencies.
  • Union of ladies of the drama: Ένωση Κυριών Δράμας: 2 pallets with baby milk and baby food
  • Sintikis municipality: 2 baby milk, baby food, 2 pallets of food, 3 pallets of sweets and pallets 7 textiles for families in need with and without children,
  • Single mothers and 3 pallets of pampers for facilities for mentally handicapped people

However, we want to help far more: Many hospitals do not have the appropriate intensive care equipment and need ventilators and monitors for monitoring in order to master the emerging corona pandemic. We want to do this concretely and have found what we are looking for when it comes to organizing these difficult to obtain devices. To implement this help, however, we need your specific help. We are currently missing around € 50,000 for the purchase of ventilation equipment.

You can give us specific support here and do something for your compatriots.

Human Plus helps – specifically and quickly – do it too!

On April 10, 2020, the first relief supplies for Greece were loaded and set off.
