Non-profit organization, Human Plus, which has its headquarters in Germany, supported infants and children in need in Greece in collaboration with Hipp Corporation by offering 60 tons of food. Hipp donated rice flour to charitable organizations and families in need based in Northern Greece, Thessaly, Attica, Peloponnesus and to some of the Greek islands.
This significant donation was made available through protection agencies throughout Greece, covering the nutritional needs of children aged 6 months-2 years, people with special needs and the elderly.
How the initiative came into being
After visiting Greece, Mr. Anestis Ioannidis, founded of Human Plus, recorded with his collaborators the needs children, the elderly and individuals with special needs who were experiencing difficulties in accessing support from local authorities.
The following individuals were significant contributors to ensure the initiative was a success:
- Constantinos Papazisis and the team of Athenian S.A. who undertook the transportation of products
- Takis Plenos
- Peter von Czarnowski
Where was the support given?
The rice flour was distributed to the following charitable organizations and associations, which have been repeatedly tested for their reliability and integrity:
- Association, “Together for the child”
- Panhellenic Association of Friends of the Multi-children (PEFIP)
- The smile of the child
- Association for the Protection of unborn child – The Embrace
- Association of Friends of Social pediatrics and medicine, “Open Arms”
Significant Nutritional Value
Rice flour is a baby food with great nutritional value, since it helps infants to meet their energy needs, which is contained in various cereals, in a proper protein ratio.
Moreover, it helps during periods of viral diseases, such as gastro-enteritis, for the feeding of infants without further burdening their body.

Μία σημαντική δωρεά από την Human Plus για τα παιδιά της Ένωσης «Μαζί για το Παιδί»
Ο μη-κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός Human Plus με έδρα την Γερμανία, προσέφερε ρυζάλευρο Hipp για να καλύψει ανάγκες των παιδιών που στηρίζει η Ένωση «Μαζί για το Παιδί»
Η σημαντική αυτή δωρεά, διατέθηκε μέσω 56 φορέων προστασίας ανά την Ελλάδα, καλύπτοντας τις διατροφικές ανάγκες 5.138 παιδιών ηλικίας 6 μηνών – 2 ετών.
Μεταξύ των φορέων που έλαβαν την προσφορά είναι το Ίδρυμα «Η Παιδική Στέγη» σωματείο-μέλος της Ένωσης «Μαζί για το Παιδί».
Όπως τόνισε η κυρία Κωνσταντίνα Παπαδοπούλου, Διευθύντρια, Παπαστράτειος Παιδική Στέγη Πειραιά:
«Αυτή τη στιγμή φιλοξενούμε περίπου 125 βρέφη ηλικίας από 2 μηνών έως 2,5 ετών, στα οποία προσφέρουμε πρωινό, μεσημεριανό και απογευματινό. Στόχος μας είναι να εξοικειώσουμε τα παιδιά με τη σωστή επιλογή των τροφών, την θρεπτική αξία των συστατικών αλλά και την συμβολή της υγιεινής διατροφής στη σωστή ανάπτυξη και διάπλαση του οργανισμού.
Σε αυτή μας την προσπάθεια σωστού, επαρκούς και υγιεινού φαγητού η αρωγή και η συμβολή σας είναι, πολύτιμη και καθοριστική. Το ρυζάλευρο είναι μια βρεφική τροφή με μεγάλη διατροφική αξία, αφού βοηθά τα βρέφη να καλύπτουν τις ανάγκες τους σε ενέργεια, η οποία περιέχεται στα διάφορα δημητριακά, σε μια σωστή αναλογία με πρωτεΐνες.
