Georgia Aid
Poverty in an emerging nation
Georgia acts as the bridge between the Christian and Muslim worlds. Its geographic location on the Black Sea – nestled between Turkey in the south and Russia in the north – is the cause of its political and ethnic tensions.
Since 2003, PROF. DR CLAUS HIPP has been acting as a “pioneer” to regularly and generously support Human Plus by providing baby food and formula. In addition to his position as managing director of the company HiPP, the Munich entrepreneur is also a professor at Tbilisi State University in Georgia.
Thanks to his excellent contacts in the country, Prof. Dr Hipp personally attends to the storage and distribution of our aid supplies to the needy in Georgia, with preference given to nursing homes and hospitals.
The photo above shows Anestis Ioannidis, president of Human Plus (left), presenting the Econosophy award to Prof. Dr Hipp in April 2011. “Meeting him today was one of the best human encounters I’ve ever had!” said Ioannidis.
We thank HiPP for the great support and excellent co-operation over the years!
